Glitchlab

Privacy policy

Effective date: 3 October 2026

Your tracker journal stays on your device. These apps have no user account, advertising SDK, analytics, or cloud-sync service. You decide whether to export or share your records.

This policy describes how Glitchlab’s fifteen tracker apps handle personal information. It also explains what happens when you contact support or visit this policy page.

Apps covered

Information you choose to record

You may enter an optional first name, dated health observations, symptom scores, affected locations, notes, care routines, reminders, activity plans, and appointment questions. You may also choose photos from your library or take a photo. These records can contain sensitive health information.

The apps store your journal locally. Glitchlab does not receive your journal through an app backend. The apps do not require an account and do not upload records for analytics or advertising. They do not connect to Health Connect or other health-data services.

Photos and device permissions

Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. Photo selection uses your device’s photo-picker interface. Selected photos are copied into the app’s local storage. Photos are not separately encrypted by the app.

Notifications are optional and support reminders you create. If you enable the interface lock, device authentication is handled by your operating system. The app receives an authentication result, not your fingerprint, face template, or device passcode. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

Security and storage

On Android and iOS, journal records are encrypted using AES-256-GCM, with the record key stored through the operating system’s secure storage. The interface lock is optional. Android app backup is disabled. Device security still matters, and no storage system can guarantee absolute security.

If you use a browser preview, journal records are stored in that browser’s local storage and are not encrypted by the app. This differs from native app storage.

Exports and sharing

Reports and record exports are created only when you request them. You choose the recipient or destination using your device’s sharing or file-saving features. Once exported, those copies are controlled by you and the recipient or service you selected. Exports are not protected by the app’s journal encryption. JSON record exports may contain local photo references rather than portable photo files.

Glitchlab does not sell your journal data or share it with advertisers. Information you deliberately send to support or another recipient is handled as described here or under that recipient’s own privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Your local journal remains until you delete entries, clear the app’s records, or remove the app’s local storage. The app offers a clear-records control. Removing the app ordinarily removes its local data; device and operating-system behaviour may vary. You must delete separately saved reports, exports, and recipient copies yourself. There is no developer-held journal copy to retrieve or delete.

If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you send. Support correspondence is used to respond to your request and address the reported issue, and retained only as needed for that purpose or applicable legal obligations. Avoid sending sensitive health records unless needed for your request. Contact us to request deletion of information you sent to support.

Purchases and third-party services

Google Play handles app purchases, payment details, receipts, and refunds under its own policies. The apps do not ask for or store payment-card details. Store transaction information made available to the developer may be used for purchase support, refunds, and accounting. Your device platform, email provider, or chosen sharing service has its own privacy practices.

This public policy page is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the page. This page includes no advertising, analytics scripts, forms, or app journal data.

Children and health use

These apps are intended for adults keeping their own personal records and are not directed at children under 13. Glitchlab does not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. If a child’s information has been sent to support, contact us to request deletion.

The apps are personal record-keeping tools. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions and do not replace professional care.

Your choices and contact

You can choose what to record, decline optional permissions, disable reminders, delete local records, and decide whether to export. For privacy questions or requests relating to information you sent to support, email ewordpress63@gmail.com. If applicable privacy law gives you additional rights, you may contact us to exercise them. We cannot remotely access records that remain solely on your device.

Policy updates

Material changes to app data handling will be reflected in this policy and its effective date. Review this page when updating the app.
